I’ve been noticing some pics recently on some single men’s profiles (sorry lads, but it’s true!) that show women’s faces - pics the women would be easily identified from. These are not couples profiles, there are often multiple different women, and no mention of partners in the profile.

Anyone else think this is all kinds of wrong or is it just me? The men in the aforementioned profiles don’t show their faces, but have no issue with showing other peoples.

I’ve had pics of mine shared on other sites, and it feels horrible. We even have laws now to prevent ‘revenge porn’. Am I the only one that think the admins should be doing something to prevent this?

I don't think single profiles should be allowed to show the faces of other people... I'm sure some have permission, but it's just too difficult to know. This should be banned

I posted a meme picture once and it got taken down as there were faces visible Fab definitely could do something about it.

Instant no no for us when looking at a profile, can't understand why such pics are allowed through when they are obviously not of the profile owner

Shouldn't be allowed , I had a pic of me and a drawing of pic accepted and than removed as I wasn't in the pic.

I do always find it off putting when a single profile does this especially when they don't have their own face on show at all. And yes it would name me wonder if they have permission to do it and even if they do how do they see it as okay when they won't show their own but quite freely show others.

I also don't think it should be allowed on a single profile I've seen how upset it made a friend of mine whose pictures were used on a profile of a guy she had met a few times. He then set up a fake couples profile using her pics as well and nothing was ever done about it. I guess it just means we all have to be careful with who we may allow to take pics of us at any time especially ones that may show faces.

Never let anyone take pics unless on your own phone but agree it should not be allowed

I know it seems to be getting worse or they send you pictures or videos unsolicited with ladies faces clearly in them. That's why I like no phones at parties some people have no idea of discretion

This right here. No cameras. Solves all the problems

I've seen non sexual pics on here taken in pubs where other customers were clearly visible. The profiles themselves had clear face pics but I'm not sure how everyone else's faces slipped through the photo mods.

Yes we did. We basically had to call out few profiles for this exact reason last week.

We also don't allow phones beside us at meets. Phones need to be left far away from us

I inadvertently had picture taken on the beach and did not notice people in the distance and took it down and rightfully, but as the lady said , always use your own phone during fun that’s the case

Thanks for all the responses so far - good to know I’m not being crazy over-sensitive…

I totally agree with the ‘no phones at meets’ thing, but we all make mistakes, send or take pics with someone we trust etc… saying you shouldn’t take pics is a bit victim blame-y to me… it’s the ‘she was asking for it because she was wearing a short skirt’ rhetoric…

Theres alot of pics that get through the verified system basically due to lack of care and verifiers mass verifying to keep up with there quota..so some dodgy pics get through...its the dodgy profiles that keep putting up the same pics they steel from the net every now n then that catfish folk is more annoying

This is a massive bug bear of mine.

If a single males profile has photos of them fucking women or photos that show primarily a woman with just their hand or cock, I will block them. I do not need or want to see proof that they’ve had a woman. I think it’s indiscreet and disrespectful and downright sleazy.

I have a couple of private photos with a cock in them and the man I question is a FB of old who doesn’t use the photos himself as its mostly me.

However, a FACE pic?!?? Omg. Just no freaking way. And I’ll lay money those women don’t know.

I doubt you’d think that’s what’s more annoying if it was your face pic someone was posting…

Just to give some balance to this debate and it might be an old chestnut but there are many single womens profiles on here with pics of men in them.

These aren't fake profiles but well established and well verified profiles and there are full and partial faces showing clearly.

The rules have to apply equally or not at all.

100% agree… I haven’t seen any myself, but if that’s the case, they should also be taken down

It’s a scumbag move indeed. I have been in play situations where photos and videos are taken with explicit consent. Any and every use of those images must be cleared with all parties involved. I never put anything up anywhere without the consent of the people in it and would be horrified if it was done to me.

I wasnt refering to anyone posting up another persons face in a picture....thats def scummy and crossing alot of lines and other folks privacy yeah...i was mearly highlighting the fact pics of all kinds slip through the verification system too easily at times that all

Absolutely agree. I think if there is a hand or an arm or a cock is fine but entire bodies and faces, identifiable or not, should be banned

I report any that I see. On another site, the rule was no one other than the owner of the profile in the pic, and that should be applied here particularly where faces are visible.

I don’t understand how the mods approve them but then, honestly, they don’t seem to check an awful lot of pictures.

More pic mods are needed but they won’t allow you to apply using the mobile app…mind boggling tbh.

It has become a lot more difficult to upload than previously . Even non identifiable pics not containing the profile owner (taken and uploaded with consent ) don’t get approved . This wasn’t the case previously

Dublin west

There are profiles usually of males where if lucky there is about 4 inches of their body on show and the rest of the pic is some other female.

It drives me bonkers and I dont get how they get approved. The profile pic should be mainly of the profile holder and others faces should be blanked out like on other sites so they or their tattoos cant be identified.

If there is more than 1 person in a photo or a video then permission should be sought from the other person and only active users should be allowed to approve it.

If they're not on fab, then its not allowed.

Then we would at least know its posted with permission.

I have permission for my videos/photo and all 3 have asked to be in a video

Hard no. Right across the board. The only people who should have anyone else in their pics are couples.

My pics were shared years ago. I felt so degraded. It was awful.

I never add any face to my profile just my own and not full face. I do get confused with some profiles who have loads of different people with different hair as the female. It certainly steers me away as i am not sure who's the female of the profile but i know some women change hair colour often aswell.

But then when i think if it people have orgies and may have the permission so who am i to judge. I always ask permission to add any one i play with to my profile.
