I still have a personal account that I don't really use except as a way of stealing memes or keeping in touch with family! I'm not gonna delete but I do admire anyone who does! |

Only ever use the business pages. Everything else is an ad or a stupid video.
Deleted my insta account 2 years ago because of the level of stupidity with so many getting lost in the Mournes trying to get their next insta pic or find the "secret" places everyone else was talking about. |

Seriously tho, FB has a huge amount of good things going for it. To revel in the potential loss of jobs and communities for those requiring support is a bit shitty really. |

As much as I would love to (and there is times where I'll get depressed looking at comments from people on there) I won't for a couple of reasons. First it's a good way for my family to keep in contact with me and see the kids and vice versa. Second Im part of one of the rare non toxic groups on there and third I have pics there that I don't have access to otherwise |

Young people are more drawn to Instagram (owned by same said nerd) which is in growth. Oh and you may delete your WhatsApp while you’re at it too

You know from your settings you can download a .zip of your entire profile.. chats, updates and every picture/ video that you ever posted or was tagged in got myself a safe copy of it all before deleting mine years ago! |

Deleted it year ago, was never a fan. Have very little interest in keeping up to date on what people I went to school with or cousins are doing with themselves.
Big Instagram fan though tbh. If the people I went to school with or my cousins had a body like some those influencers I'd have strongly reconsidered deleting my Facebook account. |

Doesn’t really matter, anything free on the internet is selling your information. They’re the first ones to come to light for doing it but as long as you browse and whatever else on your phone the data is sold to someone. Looks to me like Apple have found a way to monetise this themselves so they don’t need social media to do it. But yeah nice to see Zuk losing money, but it’s happening either way |

The dominance of FB having purchased the other platforms makes it very difficult to boycott Zukerberg 100 percent unfortunately. I also use Signal which was setup by one of the creators of WhatsApp. But I am realistic to know that everyone is going to move to Signal just because I started using it (understatment of the year) |
