Do you have a ‘formula’ for writing yours or does it depend on the individual you’re writing them for ?
Do you get asked to rewrite them sometimes ?
Are you sometimes surprised by the content of what gets written in your verifications?
Do you find writing them pleasurable or a chore ?
So many questions |

I dont like writing them,it's like writing review on Google maps I even said that once on verfie
But its only fair to say few words if you liked them |

I love writing them when I've liked the person and want to meet again. I don't lie in them, what I say is what happened and I choose my words purposely.
I find it awkward when they may have been sound but the sexual chemistry isn't there. Like do I say 'I don't want to lick their bits but you might'?
I'm joking, I would never be that crude
I won't rewrite them, I put time and effort into it and the person gets what I give them |

Open by informing everyone how long you have been waiting to meet Fabber A.
Contractually mandated phrase to tell how worth said wait was.
Tell people that what happened will obviously stay between you and Fabber A and then blatantly disregard previous statement by bigging up their mouth skills or some such.
(Include in joke from meet here i.e ill bring sugar next time so you don't have to steal the McDonald's sachets)
Stressing how much you are looking forward to round 2 is vital.
It is key and I mean KEY to let others know that this fabber is not to be missed, you at this point refer to them as a rare Stone such as a diamond or gem, I'm not sure why it has to be a stone but it has to be a stone.
If you don't sign off by telling others to treat the person with respect then you will have your verifications pulled and be castrated |

The pub then supermacs ... |
I enjoy writing them especially if that person has made quite the impression on me suppose it's kinda reliving the moment when your writing them....
I don't believe in writing one's for someone you said hello to at the bar for 2 seconds or feel you have to because they were in group chat with you.... |

This!
The ones that say didn't get much of a chance to chat...What's the point in that! They lose points for blatantly being a lamppost pisser |

We try to make them truthful from our perspective without the ridiculous exflaggeration that goes on ("one of my favourite fabbers" - somewhat loses it's sincerity when said about 400 different people) or saying things like "great kisser" (uh, I kissed him too and tbh, to me was kinda mediocre) as if we all have exactly the same tastes - no wonder some guys develop a formula of set moves.... |

"I loathe writing verifications. I never know what to write without sounding cringey or corny. Personally dont see the point of coffee veris and such. "
At this point we wouldn't even bother unless the person asks us to. |

Should there be just a grading system
1 - run avoid at all costs
2 - catfish
3 - sympathy ride
4 - take one for the team
5 - they are grand
6 - sure it good be worse
7 - ride him with the lights off
8 - definitely worth a closet look
9 - now we are talking
10 - ride him

It should be but there are so many generic veris that they could be about anyone. |

I like to focus on what I liked most about them and personalise it in that way.
Twice we've had to ask for a re-write because they used our real names. So it wasn't really a re-write, more of a copy, paste, edit, re-copy and re-paste (if they were efficient about it)

I've had a bit of fun giving the odd verification. It really depends on the individual.
If it's a once-off social/meet, it's generally just to verify the person as being genuine and I do try to be a little original in my description.
If it's more than that, I have put a twist on it, purely for a laugh for that person (whether they display it or not) .
I don't feel it's a chore. I wouldn't necessarily ask or write one unless asked or unless it's been a while since I/we got one - just to show that I/we are legit.
Some of my verifications were surprising, yes . What's even more surprising is when you get an introductory message for a coffee from a person you verified and it was their first verification. Oooopsie, that's how memorable I was .
I wouldn't rewrite unless there was a major blunder in it and wouldn't ask for anyone to rewrite either... |
