I have two cats and I absolutely adore them. I did have another but he sadly had to go to sleep last year, he was a sweetheart. Saying that I love dogs as well! Would be great to have one

Dogs for me. I prefer dogs to most people. I lost 2 in the last 12 months and my heart is still broken but it won't stop me having many more

Dogs love their owners; cats tolerate them, and my neighbours' cats have a nasty habit of crapping in my gardens!

They are a nuisance.

I like them both but definitely prefer cats. They're just not as needy. I think people get the wrong impression of them, they are loyal and loving, they just don't take shit. I had cats all my childhood and they'd walk us to school and come back at lunchtime to say hello. They're very intelligent. Only thing is If you don't treat them right they'll leave you for greener pastures, we could all learn something from them honestly.

I completely agree with this! I've never known two more affectionate, clever animals than my two cats. One of them started teaching me Fetch out of nowhere one day, it was amazing. And the cuddles I get

Based in Kerry, work in Cork.

I grew up with cats, so I loves em.

I used not like dogs bcos they're too needy but I like a lot of them now, as long as they don't slobber all over me.
