I just don’t get it. Have bought and sold many shares over the years, Standard Life, great, AIB, bad! Just can’t get my head around something that doesn’t exist! Is it basically creating cash out of nothing and then you can sell it?? |

All trading is essentially gambling |

Crypto is very volatile, and if bitcoin slips so does other coins it seems.
It will rise again, but until it's official regulated this will be a regular occurrence |

It's something I got into in a small way while I was out of work during the lockdowns. I've made a few grand out of it. It's genuinely easy to do. It goes up and back down. Follows the same pattern regularly.
Bitcoin I'm guessing will dip to about 28k, possibly lower maybe not even as low and then within a few months it is expected to hit 70k.
If anyone wants to experiment do it through revolut. Throw 20quid on it or something small. |

That's looking very unlikely. Its way more likely it will be banned in other places like it was in China. Rumor has it Russia will ban it soon. |

Honestly there's much safer ways of investing if you've surplice cash lying about I think.

I wouldn't dream of going near it as was mentioned already it's essentially gambling. I don't have much to gamble in the first place if i did would i actually i don't think k would. Happiness comes from the inside out it's something money can't buy. |

"Is anyone still into this. I see the price tanking in the last couple of months. Is it going back up? Is this all over? Who made a fortune or lost a fortune?"
I made a nice bit with leverage trading but lost it again with leverage trading. Now, I'm just HODLing.
It'll go back up again, I reckon. I don't think we'll see the multi-year bear markets of old bcos the market has matured a bit and has more institutional investors now.
But what the fuck do I know? I'm just a guy whose made some money, lost it, and HODLing whats left. |

I did a bit of mining in the early phase when it was cost effective, now you need to live in Siberia and have your own nuclear power station to mine coins. NFTs are the latest thing, even more bizarre and volatile. |
