"Stress
Lucky you, unfortunately I've had a huge amount in the last year
Lost my job in 2020 and now earning half of what I was but quality of life has improved. "
Great to hear, money certainly isn't the be all and end all |

"Random people touching me or talking to me, I like distancing from strangers.
The head in the box never turned up last night by the way
What about my hands? Kinda need those back."

Invites to parties / functions you don't want to go to but feel you have to. (E.g.The work Xmas party)
Yeah, I know, sounds like a grinch
Having to visit or entertain some customers that I'd rather not.
Going to Dublin at least once a month for meetings. Been there twice in last two years.
Business dress
My business wasn't shut for a day of it, but I enjoyed some of the solitude the restrictions brought that allowed me time to think. The rat race slowed down a bit.
What I missed was foreign holidays, hotel breaks, dinning out, concerts and taking my dad to the hurling games.

I didn't miss certain areas of my work i was unhappy in the end so it prompted a change for me. I didn't miss the mental busy days with no time to spare for myself. It has really changed my life i found more peace. |

I think a lot of people have taken stock of life and reassessed their priorities |

It's great having a baked in excuse that people can't argue with. |

"Driving/Luas to Dublin City centre or flying to the UK for a client meeting to sit and listen to shite for an hour or 2. Easier to listen to shite from the comfort of your own home.
"
Even better, you can exit the meeting and blame it on your Internet connection |

"Being constantly on the go between school and clubs runs. "
Time for a selective cull of extra-curricular activities maybe? The last 2 years have highlighted the importance of being able to entertain oneself |

Enfield & Dublin |
I certainly didn’t miss the massive tailbacks on the motorway as I headed to work. The checkpoints did take some of the benefits of no traffic though but it was kinda nice to chat with some of the Gardai on them. My morning commute was slashed from 2 hours plus to around 45-50 minutes. |

Oh yes definitely lol i can share with you i have scared a few in the days of doing it lol. Once i opened the door with a mask on i had bags of sweets in hand, one little girl ran out the drive crying to an adult outside the house lol. Well i couldn't run fast enough out to apologise the poor child, then the twist was the little sister said "that's our teacher" lol. I didn't get the chance to remove the mask at the door to show them it wasn't real it was only me. Ok moral of the story is i didn't do that again initially it was meant for a bit of fun. However i still think today that the father should have came right into the house with the child seeing as she was so young. We did laugh about it when they discovered who i was. |

"Rammed pubs" id be half the opposite. I remember tipp won all ireland in 2019, we had an a right session the Sunday night when home. People like lunatics dancing, places packed, DJs playing, it was brilliant. I also hate in a pub having to stay seated.

Ah you see at my age I don't want to have to fight my way to the bar, wait 10 mins to get served only to arrive back at my table with only half a drink |

"Definitely Dublin traffic"
Traffic is something we'll all have to get used to again. I was even able to shave a minute off my usual 8 minute commute when schools were closed |

The commute
Small talk in the office.
Sitting near randomers in the cinema.
Sitting near randomers in the pub.
Sitting near randomers in a restaurant.
Just being close to randomers in general actually.

Yeah didn't miss people sitting beside me on public transport or cinema etc. Just people getting in my space full stop, keep the six feet rule, I loved it!
Also, didn't miss tourists, not one little bit. Irritants the lot of them.
