No as in regards to myself, but there's stuff like that going on. It's a few years now and I was flirting with a guy on the forum. Out of the blue I got a nasty message from one of his regular meets after which she blocked me. |

Jealousy happens, everywhere. Its how you deal with it that matters. Some people are overcome, and do strange things. But, its an irrational response, so there's no understanding or logic to it. I thought i was immune, but a few years ago i was triggered by something very simple. I have a very close friend,(solid friend zone ) we used meet regularly. She had a bf, which didnt bother me. But one day he came to pick her up on his bike, gave her a helmet, and she swung up behind him, arms around his waist and drove off..with MY GIRL. I was overcome with jealousy. Irrational, illogical , i know. We're still friends. |

Not in a full on claws out way but I do get pangs of jealousy...or maybe that's too strong a word - maybe it's FOMO..but it's almost always driven by my own mood at the time when my old insecurities are riding high |

Jealousy is usually driven by low self esteem and its important to recognise that this human response almost always happens unconsciously. Bonds are made and value is put on them over time. Its important to have conscious realistic expectations otherwise disappointment ensues. That is not just on this kind of site but in general. I never get upset if I see someone I've bonded well with online but not messaging me for example. It doesn't affect my own sense of self worth. I can't always stay in conversations with everyone I may have chatted to for awhile. Some bonds taper off. It is what it is. Respect for others and myself continues to remain at a high standard. No desire to control anyone else's journey |

"Meh
Aren't ye lucky Mick ye don't have these problems "
Jealousy just isn't something that has ever entered my head tbh, and I find it difficult to understand how people get jealous of others. Maybe I'm odd like that, as well as in many other ways. |
