Something I'm curious about.

Has anyone had a Fwb and it turned into a long term relationship?

I have two FWB, but, I use the friends bit loosely. I mean, I like them both and we get on well but I don't want to go to the cinema with them. We're on the same page, which is why it works for what we want it for.

No thank you to catching feelings. It's not for me right now.

FWB we left him in Poland. Unfortunately he didn't want to move out with us lol but he was the best lad we've ever met during our lifestyle. He's been helping out male duties while I've been working away of home and never expected nothing in return. Very good example for every lad on here who wanna join couple in seriously way.

He didn't want to move with you? How selfish of him . I hope you find an equally useful guy here

My current relationship started as a fwb one, now 4 years later, I'm stuck in an unhappy relationship on this site searching for a discreet fwb.

Did not work out the way I thought in my head 4 years ago.

No.

Still have a FWB in UK but would never turn into relationship unless I got divorced and moved country.

Yes, lasted 2 and a bit years. The fwb chapter was fairly brief though before it became a relationship

Never had a FWB that did not want a relationship after a while. I help them through the catching feelings phase by reminding them what we are about.

Some couldn't handle it and stopped being FWB, others understood the assignment and found a way to make it work.

You seem very practical! 'The Assignment' phrase makes me grin Has it ever been vice versa where you caught feelings and failed the assignment!?

Yes, I try to be practical about feelings. Very dicey thing...To answer your question. Yes. One time I, I just realised we were no more FWBs and I asked her 'What is the one thing I mustn't do'.. She replied and an exclusive relationship started from there. I guess the feelings was mutual at that point to us. We had been FWB for over 3 years though and seeing each other quite a lot. That connection had to spark and become a flame.

It can be fun for a while until one of the couple starts to fall for the other that doesn't reciprocate.

Once started a relationship with work colleague and after years dwindled to FWB maybe once a month and ended up couldn’t be arsed..

Lesson learnt

Don’t mess with work colleagues

Ended up having to leave job I liked to make break clean and putting career back 5 years
