"Plenty of people here talk about their adult toys but what was your favourite as a kid? Do you still have it somewhere?
Well jesus...you must have... "
I actually do, I'm keeping them so hopefully my children if I have any, can have them |

I don't recall having a favourite and they all went to landfill over 40 years ago (and no doubt are still there in all their plastic glory)
I had dolls, my brother always got the interesting stuff - Airfix, Meccano, chemistry sets |

Went through phases of Star Wars, Action Force etc. But my favourite was always my matchbox cars.
My dad often says how they would be worth a fortune now if we looked after them and kept the boxes but you don't think of that when you're a kid, you just want to play with them.

It makes you wonder what kid would buy/get a toy and say "Wow, this is great. It will be worth a lot in the future, guess I wont even open it."
Toys are for being played with. |

I shared all my toys with my brother. So we had masses of Lego and soldiers and tanks and garrisons. We loved board games and jigsaws.
I had some toys as a baby that I loved and still sort of remember playing with. A little tinky toy car with trailer tent and a bus with passengers that wobbles when you push it along. I still have them on my shelf here. Looking at them right now. Love them! |

Have a doll that was one of my first toys. As for the rest not a clue. Bought my son a train track one Xmas and we knocked months of fun out of it. Ended up selling it a few years ago as it was a beautiful track.
There is a massive box of lego and hot wheel cars in the attic that will never be gotten rid of |

Favourite toy growing up was my bosco doll, I begged for it on a trip to Ireland visiting family my mother didn't see a problem buying me (a boy) a doll. Lost it in new Zealand when we lived there although I was 10 an probably grown out of it x |
