I've had my face sent to me from a speeding camera years and years ago   - it wasn't a pretty sight and definitely not a turn-on  (yes, on the continent they do photograph your face!) |

They photograph your face here too, but only end a close up of the vehicle registration, but you can request the full pic!

Interesting, I didn't realize that! It's one way to prove whether it's the owner of the vehicle at fault and therefore liable for the fine and points.
I do remember a family member on the continent disputing such a fine. She had the proof it wasn't her face, refused to disclose the identity of the driver and was subsequently ordered by the courts to keep a log of any and all mileage she did for a certain length of time |

Many years ago we used to have to clean up about a dozen used condoms every week at the back door of the warehouse. Following an armed robbery sometime in 1998 we installed 6 new CCTV cameras, 3 of which overlooked the back door.
Within a week the used condom numbers tripled so either someone's productivity levels increased or they had told all their mates about the cameras.
All recordings were on VHS so we didn't have the time or inclination to start rewinding and never saw anything. |
