Why do I get messages from guys??

If I try to send a message to a person or couple who have expressed no interest in single guys or anyone outside an age bracket, then I can't send a message....which is a great function, because at best you have people like me who overlooked the requirement, or at worst, you have people who don't care and ignore the wishes of others.

But I get a lot of messages from men....and I'm only realizing that surely they shouldn't be able to send me

Ok thanks, it's just a thought that crossed my mind now. If my account says couples or women, I thought that was enough. I'll look for the block option then

Unfortunately, that's not enough. You need to block them if you don't want them pestering you. We had to block them, even though we got a couple of nice message from nice guys, the creepy ones were OTT and we got lots.

It's unfortunate because it gives the genuine guys on here a bad rep

I get you. And to be honest I'm not the kind of person who wants to close a door on anyone, at least give a person a chance to say hello! But I don't think I can anymore

"Honestly lad, the reason your getting messages from lads is because your hot. That second photo is definitely one of the hottest ones on here. Well done."

I just got this mail. If I'm clearly not looking for guys is not enough, if this very post that you're referring to, which is about blocking people like you is not enough, then what is?

The arrogance is astounding! I won't post your username (yet) but you're the reason a block option has to be there.

Yeah, I'm seeing that now. I didn't realize I needed to put a block into place. I thought my listed preferences covered it. And also, in the heat of the moment who knows? If I'm with a couple and there's a grey area, we'll see, no promises or judgement...

But some of these guys...they're the reason people have to be careful

I don’t think it’s a good idea posting private messages on the forum, and certainly not usernames.

Besides, I got that message for so many different types of profiles I assumed it was spam…..

Only the message because of context, which come on, is fair enough, and username left out which is generous enough given the discussion. I've no interest in causing hassle for anyone

Not allowed post content of messages.

If you dont want messages from guys block them. I have my filters tight and yet the odd message gets through from someone I would have no interest in meeting I just delete I don't feel the need to come on the forum and have a go at people.

Message filters are there for a reason.

City center

It screams that you are uncomfortable

Why? Its a compliment that bi, gay or straight men want to fuck you.

Or could it be a post to draw attention to your profile. The fact you posted a private msg in the thread, that states a certain pic would suggest to me its quite possibly attention seeking at its finest.

Just block people you don't wanna interact with. And ffs get over yourself

Is it that big a deal really to get a message from a man saying your hot. Doesn't make you bi or gay to get a compliment. Just ignore them or as previously stated just block men.

Jaysus does it really matter that much? It’s very easy to delete a message or just ignore it.

Don't know about rest of country..but I'd imagine its the same there's a serious amount of guys offering bjs without even seeing a pic or veri or even a word on a profile, literally I signed up and less than a minute I had 2 offers of according to their profiles straight lads...

I always find it odd that people wear a watch when they're undressed. Its like wearing one sock.

Does that happen regularly when you're undressed?
