A question for both sexes.

Yes caution is good and testing as necessary.
But for me I’ve always liked a lover to cum inside a gf / partner. And whatever they may say most men adore cumming in another guys woman. Otherwise just use sex toys! |

Testing alone is not good enough imo.. They only screen for standard stds we all know of.. Unfortunately there are many other viruses and pathogens that can be transmitted through semen which are not tested for.. You'll find out when you become sick 1 day with a mystery illness and you'll wonder how the you caught it after getting a blood test.. |

I’ve had a good whirl of time on the earth.
Just because I have a preference doesn’t mean I not cautious to some extent.
Personally I, K don’t get it up very often. B has a very high sex drive and she’s never had anyone insist on condoms in a pub toilet.

Oh, I'm pro choice - if others choose not to use a condom, that is their choice with a consenting partner, but I personally have protected sex with strangers and test regularly as well.

I feel this overstates the risk of semen, over for example kissing, or fingerings, or oral. Those activities are pretty much just as likely to transmit most pathogens and are more or less mandatory here. Let's not get TOO hysterical. |

To illustrate my point... the chances of catching hiv from insertive PIV sex with an infected partner is about 4 in 10,000. Nothing remotely like a blood-blood link.
Unprotected oral sex is a VERY risky activity and you can catch loads of things that way.
Oral herpes, genital herpes, and cytomegalovirus can easily be transmitted via kissing and are all incurable... plus loads of other non-std diseases. |
