Picture software

This has probably been asked a million times before, but can anyone recommend editing software for pictures. I basically just want to superimpose one picture on top of another (nothing fab related!)

I use photoshop and light room. If its a free software your looking for try gimp. It's very like photoshop and easy enough to use.

You'll need to remove the background of one of the images before superimposing so you could use Gimp (mentioned already).
