The Govt has reported the highest ever tax take in 2021. The word recession was bounced about a lot but this is not reflected in the outcome.

Where on earth did all the tax come from as the Irish economy was shut down for some of it.

€526m as a result of customs charges resulting from brexit,that's a lot of parcels.

Have you paid taxes on online purchases?

Covid clearly has had the opposite effect to the Govt than a lot of us.

A lot was from money not used for projects that couldn't go ahead due to covid too I think.

South Side.

Most of the Covid payments, Pup, and business supports were taxable. So, the government gave with one hand and revenue took back with the other.
