Men viewing my profile but interested in women

Hi
A lot of men have been viewing my profile the last while. Any reason? My settings say I am interested in women? Is there some setting I should change? |

They don't know you're interested in women until they view your profile.
They could be following the verification trail, I fall down that rabbit hole quite a lot 
Use your message filters to stop men sending a message. |

"Yea, change the setting to say you're interested in men and it will stop. It's a weird bug in the system where you need opposite for it to work. "

I have a feeling I am appearing in the search bar for men only and not women? Or else I am not having any luck with the women. Maybe it's the second one! Lol |

No it's not, but at least you tried
There are probably women & couples viewing you with privacy settings on so they don't show up, probably a lot ofmen with privacy settings on too so there's probably a lot more men looking at your profile than you realise |

Sometimes women don't get the opportunity to search for themselves bc answering mail is a full time job.
And from what some men say they never have a woman message first so there is that. Its maybe not that they're not searching for you you, its that they're not searching period. |

Likely people veri hopping. Looking at the profiles of your verifications and then looking at you. |

Yes and because of that, your "looked at me" listing will only show the men who looked at you, not the couples or women  "
Not necessarily, we're not looking for single men or women but they still show up on our 'who has looked at you' list. |

They could fancy you.
They could be reading verifications and following the rabbit hole.
They might be looking after being interested in a forum post or update.
They could be Sydney University interns |
