I did it in Spain years ago,it was 2006 and I had met an Irish lady and in we went when walking home.from a night out, when we came out someone had stole my clothes, so I got a bin bag and done the walk of shame back to my hotel, they wouldn't let me in and called the cops, not my most enjoyable moment |

There's also a beach in louth and another right on the border of Dublin/ Meath used on a regular basis by naturists from The INA during the summer months |

I did the dickie dip this year to raise funds for cancer and it was a great feeling to get your kit off and be very comfortable amongst others in public knowing it was for a good cause definitely something I will do annually now |

"Don't swim there, dangerous currents, Mullaghmore is where I grew up and no one has ever swam at Tralawua beach, which is the beach you're talking about "
Really ? We are frequently there during the summer and loads of people swimming and surfing (and more ) |

"Donabate beach as I found out yesterday. Well a part of it"
I think there's a great little story for the telling about what you found out yesterday on Donabate beach. Would you like share some of it? I'd be interested. |

Lol. I should have clarified. I found out it has a nudist section. I did not stumble upon it but it is my plan to visit this year. |

We were only talking about this yesterday, we swim in all the usual Dublin spots for 'non-naturist' and quiet frequently we see people with their kit off.
We try to swim at off peak times and always wondered if the areas were earmarked for nudity or were we rocking up and ruining someone's buzz when they're expecting it to be quiet. |

Nude swimming most days would take place at white Rock Killiney
There's usually textile and non textile swimmers in the water

Are they locals? Mullaghmore beach would be jammers with people and there wouldn't be only a few on Trawalua, ive never seen swimmers, it's nice and shallow for a bit, then the currents can catch you out, any local I've ever heard talking about it has said it
They kite surf on windy days which doesn't put them in the way of currents anyway
I did see 2 couples from wicklow once, said it to them and they stayed v close to shore ....
I'd be pretty wary... |
