I am uncertain that the following could defined as a traditional song, but I am very partial to Bridie Gallagher's famous song (from decades ago) called: The Boys from Co. Armagh.
She became internationally renowned for this traditional song, although she originally came from County Donegal, and lived most of her life in Belfast, where she died over a decade ago.
In her time she was as famous in the 1960s, as Daniel O'Donnell is, or was at his peak! |
