As far as I am aware, the fictional Nakatomi film location is actually a building called Fox Plaza in Century City, Los Angeles.

Its facade was extensively damaged during filming and repair of the marble facade, in particular, cost the production company tens of thousands of dollars.

The building was still under construction which was why the producers were keen to secure the building for filming and the owners were more inclined to allow the building to be used.

I got to shoot an AK47 in Vegas and told the instructor I wanted to shout that before I pulled the trigger and he let me do it. What a buzz that was. Great craic
