No return to innocence here sorry
But was working overseas and hadn’t seen mum for a year . Upon returning close to Christmas she had a pair of Prada shoes waiting for me . She couldn’t really afford them but I d say nothing was ever too much for her son. Wore them for years and they were beyond comfortable .
The unconditional love (most) parents give is taken for granted for so long . Hopefully not until it’s too late |

It would be a Lego technic jeep I got around the early 90s. I don’t know why but it’s always the present I think of when asked this question. Just loved playing with it, smashing it off jumps and building it in the new all over again. |

My favorite Childhood Christmas present was the original Optimus Prime. The one where everyone looses the hands.
Sadly it went the way many toys went in a house of many children. |
