I'm slowly getting into it myself, without the wetsuit on.

Some beautiful spots up round this part for wildswimming.

It's unreal man, just being in the ocean is so good! It's the best therapy, I can't recommend it enough

I can do pool for a couple of K but the depth of the sea freaks me a bit, like to get over that

i travel all over

I learnt to swim in my 40s

It’s exhilarating

So many Great Lakes In Ireland much less intimidating than the sea

Very special ones in cork and Galway

But waters can be very calm in the sea . Last dip in the prom in salthill late October

I find sea swimming easier that lake swimming..the salt makes it a little more buoyant.

Wusses! Sea swimming brill all year. Great rush of endorphins.

Though POI...Lake swimming is much more difficult and dangerous than swimming in the sea

Swim in the sea every week. Also do coasteering wjich is basically jumping off high rocks into water. Kayaking, orienteering rock climbing etc. Im in an adventure club, best thing i ever did tbh
