Have to say he is my favourite comedian of all time. Was lucky enough to meet him once .
What's your favourite Billy stand up routine or saying . Mine is wind swept and interesting . Comedy routine I have 2 . Sorry a wee cheat.
First one is on parkinso show when he blurts out as welcome as a fart in a space suit
Second is on stage the posh dinner with the tobogganist |

"
I don't find him at all funny but I do love his TV shows where's he's travelling around |

The best comedian ever!
In my opinion obviously.
Just a genius.
Responsible for bringing so many topics out in the open for proper discussion, like sex and men's health, not to mention some crazy politics.
Must be one of the most travelled and world educated person ever.
A goose farting in a fog.
Potatoes of the night.
He's got his legs shoved down the sleeves of the eiderdown.
The biggest spider you ever saw and I was swatting it away.
I could go on but I'd bore those who don't get references like I was just trying to break a bar of chocolate in my arse pocket
Saw him many times, thankfully, though the best was the Hammersmith Apollo/Odeon and it was his first night there. Because of that, he lost track of time and went on for 3hrs!
My jaw wasn't right for a week from laughing!
To say that I love the man, on many different levels, is putting it mildly.
Pure gold and it's fucking shite that he has Parkinson's but he's dealing with it as only he could and a beacon of hope to others suffering, not to mention those of us who may end up similar.
I totally love the man ( Love ) ( grouphug ) |

He's the best.
A brilliant story-teller.
The one about the signalman is brilliant!
Also love the Live in New York one about airplane pilots.
The herd of wild horses about getting the ride and his mates telling him to pull out!
The show An audience with Billy Connolly on Swearing....
Could go on and on...a genius! |

"Fantastic comic between him and Bernard Manning can go a bit far but so funny "
Bernard manning isn't fit to run the cloakroom at one of Billy's concerts. Disgusting prick of a human with as much comedy value as that last time I got my foreskin caught in my zip. |

"It’s comedy that’s what happens every comic does the same in some sense or other
Nah. Most comics avoid racism and homophobia. "
Most comedians thrive on controversy
The big yin was pure gold and just his voice alone was a joy to listen to . |

Grandparents used to watch him when I was younger.. Never knew much about him.
Only recently listened to his book windswept and interesting(audible)..
Great book! From his upbringing and what he personally and professionally achieved in his lifetime so far..
