I’m delighted there is none and hasn’t been for a few years. A younger work colleague, we click, I know there is something there and I think a few drinks and things could be said, so tis just as well! Damn she is fit though! |

As a non drinker these were always by far the worst experiences.
I only ever spent my time breaking up fights, cleaning up someone else's mess or taxiing them home.
A one hour trip home from the last one actually took 2½hrs because of all of the above.
Some people talk enough shite when sober without throwing alcohol into the mix.
I've no interest in socialising with anyone who needs that crutch. |

I think the spread of Covid has taken care of parties! How you equate that to the current government is beyond me! Plus, they aren’t banned, it’s just advice.
