Are no shows really such a huge problem on here.
I find that mad as I’m a genuine guy who usually has to hustle his little boxers off to make a meet happen in the first place. (Pun intended)
If I can’t make it I always like to give as much notice as possible…don’t know why anybody would turn down the sexy people on here |

Wasn't a party we organised but we were the only couple that showed out of 4. I get very annoyed when lads pull put of astro so when people pull out of meets that annoyance gets doubled at least I'd bet |

Let downs/no-shows happen far more frequently then you'd think. I've endured both kinds of experiences with men but so far have only been let down by one woman.
It is an insanely discouraging experience to go through. It's like being gaslighted but it's by ghosts you wanted to sleep with!  |

Hearing about no shows really annoys me. After putting in all the work and then not to show up or for someone to cancel last minute has to be soul destroying. I can tell you that if I get half a chance to meet someone i won’t be letting anyone down. |

Never had a no show for either a meet or coffee. Did have a very late cancellation after I’d turned down another meet for the cancelled one.

Had 2 no shows in November alone for no reason, had 1 girl cancel for the 4th time for later this week (have met few times already)
Cant meet at drop of a hat if you need bag of tricks with ya.
Im no George Clooney but average fella and it does get you down tho

We've had no shows, we get that shit happens but when you get 3 in a row it becomes tiresome. Especially when we've organised babysitters etc.
Frustrating part is when the no show is one of the guys who has previously told you - "I can't believe you were let down, I'd never let you down if I got a chance to meet you"  |

A couple of cancellations, one last minute and one with a few hours notice at least.
Things happen and it sucks, we all get that. But some people seem to get off on hooking you in and they then lose interest. Such is online chatter though. |

I don't usually have no shows as such but I decided to do a little experiment over the weekend and arranged coffee meets with 5 people that had been asking me to meet them for months. Not 1 of those coffee meets happened. They all had a last minute reason to cancel. I find a lot of guys like the idea of a meet but back out when push comes to shove.
I did have a lovely last minute coffee meet with someone else that made up for the others though.  |

I see a lot of posters saying it has never happened that they have never had a no show. Hopefully that will be a fact of their fabswingers experience, but I think, it just hasn't happened YET

Seems that's a lot of people do set up a plan B but when the plan A comes through then the plan B obviously gets a fairly late notice pfo.

We’ve been generally very lucky but easily 5 or 6 no shows in last 4 yrs. All AWOL for the first social meet for us. The social meet is a must for us for that very reason - to out the bluffers.
The profile can often be hidden from us or get deleted altogether when we subsequently check on it.
A genuine reason for being as lathair and/or some effort at remorse for standing us up has resulted in rescheduling so we haven’t included these in out ‘no show’ numbers. |

I've had a few, one that turned up looked at me and left. Last one texted 20 kins after we were to meet to say he couldn't meet as he had dislocated his shoulder, it must be still dislocated not a word since.
No more travelling for socials for me. Lesson learned |

No shows are rare, what is more likely for us is that they cry off at the very last minute. Even with a plan B the same thing is likely. It seems to us that once they've got their quota of risky texts and a few pics then they haven't the nerve to go through with it. All in their pretty little heads. |
