Just driven home from work...not a breeze so far in Dublin
The amount of foxes moving around in incredible
They must be coming down from the mountains and into back gardens to shelter
I've just taken my dog in from the back garden because There's a fox under my shed |

"A bullshit storm.. Years ago they called this weather winter and we all just got on with it.. Nowadays its a big hullabaloo.. Scaremongering at its very best just trying to scare the public.. "
I'm sure the man in Antrim thought the same during the last storm just before the tree fell on him. |

Winter weather doesn't normally cause multiple downed trees all over the country or floods in the space of a day. |

Technology has moved on from the old days so that now we can make better safer decisions without having to get on with it like the old days
Kids can stay at home
workers can stay at home
It's a no brainer

Just been sent a video of waves lifting and moving a skip and smashing into a wall.
Drove passed a van that was blown completely off a country road and into a field.
In a lull at the minute. Only 60 mile an hour winds now and horizontal rain.

Snowflake generation can't handle a bit of wind and rain.. All schools closed in my area today.. Medical appointments cancelled.. Ridiculous logic.. Don't go outside or the wind will blow you away snowflake or maybe a tree will fall on you.. When this storm is finished I suggest you never leave the house again as its a dangerous world out there.. Don't drive your car you might crash it and die.. Don't cross the road you might get run over snowflake.. Where do we draw the line.. |

Your a grown man giving out about informed advice that is given to protect lives. Its not made up,its based on solid rationale. When you bring the phrase snowflake into a discussion you really do lessen it's impact by the way. |

The so-called snowflakes wisely heeded public advice, stayed inside and probably saved lives as a result.
Severe storms are going to be more commonplace in the future; Met Eireann do not issue status red weather warnings frivolously, or irresponsibly.

Anyway its the depths of Irish winter, we should be semi-hibernating. Ideally with our nearest and dearest, cosy and warm. We need quiet time in our lives, modern life is too hectic and exhausting |

"Such a drama because of bit stronger wind..."
Ya, you’re right, unless your property, home or business has been damaged or flooded, or if you’re an old person living alone or with a young family without electricity for heating, light or cooking for a couple of days…….
But I guess if none of that applies to you then you’re right, fuck then, a big load of shite over nothing…… |

I’m sorry, the myth of any “storm” taking place has well and truly been debunked earlier in the thread…..
Never happened, nobody is buying any of these crazy stories here…….
Hope you’re all ok there, cows don’t milk themselves, despite the fact that some may think that milk comes from shops….. |
