Maynooth

I'm in the same boat. Shift work too. I've been at it a long time though and I've found that the best way for me to deal with it is for me to have a shower and go to bed the moment I get home. Definitely no food for a few hrs before that either. Even if I have broken sleep, I'm there long enough to get a rest. If I do sleep, I just wake up earlier.

Work retail then you will know what burnout is like for Christmas or the 2 days off we get. I haven't enjoyed Christmas in 23 years.

After work, hot bath and a hot whiskey, then straight to bed, works for me

Everytime you wake up drink a glass of water... It might put you back to sleep again.. Works for me..

right up your street , the wild Atlantic way , corby UK

I switch shifts, do crazy hours and high stress work.

I find listening to easy listening music puts me to sleep fast and stops my mind running through stuff whilst trying to sleep.

I sleep right up to my alarm clock then .

Acid techno isn't a good choice.

Soothing acoustic, chilled out covers . Happy music.
