Beards - the longer the uglier they are to me.
Tattoos - I literally don't see anything special about them. Nothing.
"Rugby built" - whatever the fuck that means I just hate it when people describe themselves as that.
Cake - don't know why people so obsessed with cake (I speak as a qualified chef who baked hundreds of cakes for people).
That's only a few off the top of my head

Anal.
Your finger in my asshole.
Having hands around my neck.

All popular, but the ‘why’ escapes me.

Ok ok so he has huge issues in terms of integrity .
And his party has disastrous policies in relation to urbanisation and rural Ireland.
And he is not actually at all popular . He tanked the election despite Ireland being the best performing economy in Europe at the time .
But Leo being a gay man of Indian heritage , smashed the glass ceiling for many in Ireland . I know my kids can be ANYTHING In Ireland they want because of what he has achieved .
Compare and contrast with the U.K. . Unless you do a PPE degree in oxford after going to Eaton your chances of becoming PM are limited .
And when he made announcements in the first half of 2020 you listened . The statesman Ireland needed when the likes of England Brazil the US and Russia were/are led by Donkeys.
He is one of the reasons for me why Ireland now comes across as a progressive forward thinking country overseas . I am proud of being an honorary naturalised Irish citizen . He also oversaw great referendum outcomes .
Yes yes he is privileged but he has achieved a lot . You know when he is in the position he is in that this is a meritocracy and not a caste system state. So I for one prefer him to the incumbent despite the incumbent’s superior integrity .
I think I ve dug enough. |

"As an individualist, an independent free thinker and an autodidact, I see little point in many human constructs: religions, football, group sports, politics, recreational narcotics, smoking, vaping, fast fashion, etc. "
There is little point in listing specific pet hates because the list could be almost infinite; the key is to say something controversial that provokes a reaction (as it has) and potentially generates positive discussion by standing out from the crowd.
In contract my pet likes are: discussions about problem-solving on a spectrum from the individual to the entire race; desertification; self-actualisation through constant self-education which I do daily; real active positivity rather than listing a personal dislike which no-one (of any interest) is going to pro actively respond to.
Someone may actually come back on the thread and reply; you know what you're right, here are some things I really like, that interest me, perhaps we could meet to discuss.
Listing a pet hate is a conversational deadend, a cul de sac with no point! |

"

But do you like the Toy show?"
I presume you are referring to the edition of The Late Late Show that once annually becomes The Toy Show, as originally devised, produced and presented by Uncle Gaybo, whom I believe wore a specially designed sweater each year, that his successor Ryan Tubridy has emulated.
After all that, I have never actually seen it in total, just snippets, media reports, etc.
The only problem with the Toy Show is that it possibly raises the bar of what children will expect to receive at Christmas, placing additional financial burdens on parents from their children's pester power.
A lot if what is bought at Christmas is abandoned by the new year, regrettably.
I personally prefer gifts that are of some usefulness and that really last!
The raison d'etre of RTE's Toy Show is to wow the viewers with the latest must have toy; is it? |

You have made some very valid points there. But there some issues that you didnt address, such as the loss of our fishing rights, the timber industry at a standstill, Our peat industry , where we now import peat from other EU countries. Plus , he isnt the true leader of this country!! Fiana fail had the worst election results in modern history, its only through a coalition that he got to lead us. Im not a supporter of any of main political parties. Not one Goverment in history has lived upto their election manifesto. They promise everything but deliver little. |

I agree with all of this except umbrellas...it's brollies that are a waste of space, particularly in a strong wind...but umbrellas are the bees knees |

Umbrellas were originally devised to be used as parasols in sunny climates and not for use in wet windy areas as rain shelters.
I have almost been skewered by users on several occasions, who did not appreciate how lethal the end of those spines are, to passers-by! |
