Do people prefer to meet people from their locality or does that scare people off by somewhat eroding the potential anonymity of using the site. Ive Always wondered. Proximity is helpful but is it scaring some people off? |

For me, local meets are ideal seeing as I don't have a car anymore. But living in Dublin means anonymity is much easier.
Living in a smaller town or locality it might be more of an issue I guess? |

Not a huge issue for me(I don't think) as we are all here for the same reason. Probably not the guy/gal next door and all should be well. Also, by the time I get around to meeting someone, and this can take time, I'll have usually figured if they are a Messer or not. |

Carlow really isn't that big especially the part im from so i tend not to meet local,id rather travel to meet someone now in saying that there's a limit to how far id travel to..There's been one or two ive gone the extra distance for  |

"If you were to establish that your vanilla lives don’t cross over then closer , say same county would be great . It cuts down travel . Ultimately though how you get on is more important "

We couldnt travel very far on account of family but we would have met people from outside the city. We had two people message us (that we had never met and maybe exchanged 1/2 messages max) about how they had seen us in such and such a place etc. Very uncomfortable and offputting |
