Similar few days myself. Done in a muscle in my lower abdomen. Never happened to me before and it's a very uncomfortable pain to say the least.

Hope your feeling better soon.

I have no idea. But it got that bad I had to go home from a very hot evening.

I hope you get some sort of relief soon. 11 years is a long time to be dealing with pain

Try meditation/mindfulness or put ice cubes and water in the sink and stick your head into it or cold shower the colder the better. Or just get into the sea.

Disc brakes on road bikes are just a clever marketing ploy by the cycling industry to get more money from the consumer. They don't stop you any better than a good set of rim brakes. The discs frequently become warped under heavy braking and jam in the caliper, rendering their bicycle unrideable. Plus the insessant "Ching Ching ching" noise of a slightly misaligned disc rotors on some of my cycling pals bikes is beginning to grate on my nerves. I'm not a total luddite who eschews new technology, but I consider disc brakes on bicycles are a retrograde step.

Well from what’s described above it sounds like it , proper good quality disc set up far out exceeds rim brakes , try spending an hour descending a mountain trail with rim brakes and not to mention if it’s raining!

I actually think he prefers not to have them is what i took from it. I wouldn't go near them myself but i do think tbey obviously have their place otherwise people wouldn't be buying into them.

Just the latter

They were going in the opposite direction so I would have had to do u turn and chase them down and get them to stop.

Then get out of the car to confront them. I am sure they would have been terrified of my 5 foot 6 frame given their antisocial attitude

I play the banjo and mandolin and I find Irish traditional music a very feel good music for the soul, I think I'd like to attend the next camping social and play for the masses.

Is there anyone else here that plays Irish traditional music or folk music?
