At a recent vanilla party friends of us stated that whenever they have a chat with us the conversation drifts into sexual matter . Well there is that saying “ People who talk a lot about sex don’t have any “ We dare to think it’s the opposite . People who don’t have sex have nothing to talk about it . And in a modern society we would consider talking about sex as being mainstream , this is 2021 and not 1971. What are your thoughts ? |

The problem is like a lot of other things in this country, it's still nearly one of those taboos that everyone does but not a lot like to speak about it for fear of judgement. Personally, talk away, what's the problem with it?! |

Talking about one subject to the detriment of all others makes for poor conversation imo. Talking about sex is fine but there are a lot of people who talk about nothing else and it's quite boring. |

No matter how modern society is now, many many prefer to keep their private lives just that - private. Others may only be comfortable talking about sex with certain friends. |

When it comes up I talk about as openly and honestly as the situation allows, but I'm probably like that with every subject.
Add a little cheekiness and messing and I don't see why you would treat that subject different to any other. |

I don’t mind talking about past sexual encounters but I wouldn’t go into details about a current partner. Obviously I gossip in work but I don’t go into specifics. I try to have respect for the person I’m with. |
