Spoilers Alert

So who stuck with it,my youngest came home early last night to watch it with me as he loved it as did I and I have to say well done RTE.

Great ending, hopefully they go ahead with another series especially since the 2 expensive actors are written out and it should be cheaper to make

I really hated it. I invested in all episodes but so slow and boring. Frequent one minute pauses with nothing happening, predictable, cliched.

Go to Walter Presents, If ye want great drama, The Chestnut Man, really good.

"I agree very slow moving not a patch on love hate "

Not a patch on LH, nothing flows, nothing normal in it, interaction between the two brothers and your wan is brutal.

I enjoyed it. I don't compare it to love hate and take it on its on merit.

Don't know where there is left to go for series two though.

New Drama starts next Sunday with Angeline Ball, so we'll start again with that.

It was a bit of a slow burn, wasn't sure whether to stick with it after the first episode, but it definitely picked up and got better. No, it was no Love-Hate, but it was still better than most shows RTE have put out since then. If there's a second series, I'll tune in.

Watched it every Thursday when it was released online.. It was OK.. First season of any series isn't usually great so maybe next will improve.. The bullet to the eye was something else

Love hate was much better. Better scripted, better characters in general. Is clip the only word the writers know for killing someone? Love hate had that little bit of humour you need in something like this. Kin has zero smiles. It's good, has great talent but its not love hate. I still wonder if Nidge made it. I bet half the country does.

In fairness I don’t think it tried to be Love/Hate.Watched all 8 episodes, which could have been fit into 2.Serious amount of plot holes.Won’t give away spoilers. The best craic was the Twitter commentary ??

Twitter was funny in fairness and yes big plot holes...but I was entertained for 8 hours as was my son watching it with me

Sunday night drama on any station can be enjoyable at the end of the weekend

Same. It's hard for me to give up on a show! Love/Hate still remains one of my favourites

Yessssss. I did. I'll admit, I was slightly obsessed with that show. I actually only started on season 3!! So I borrowed Season 1 and 2 dvds and binged them. Darren was my favourite character, I had a pain in my face from bawling when he was killed even though his downfall was inevitable. As for Nidge, what a fantastic character, what a fantastic actor. Legendary.

My company was used in season one and two as a filming location and a huge amount of filming was done around it

Even today I met someone this morning for a coffee and they asked me was it the coffee shop where love hate was filmed ....it was and it's amazing its still spoken about

Just too many pointless pauses, too many silly conversations, the Husband getting emotional was ridiculous but the ending was good. It’s just too slow.

Naas which is South West of Dublin

I didn’t see any of it but happened to see most of the last episode, obviously I didn’t know the storyline etc., but by all accounts I may have seen the best of it.

It was always slow, too many pointless pauses, terrible Dublin accents and lads with beards being glamorous gangsters, watery storyline, Good ending after a long and drawn out series of 8 installments. Good for RTE but wont export well or sell abroad.

Have watched it all and yes it does leave a lot of questions to be asked. Its generally a sliw burner and the last episode is to my mind a nod to the Godfather.

Actually it was part produced my AMC (Breaking Bad, Walking Dead). It will go well in the US. We know how unrealistic it is. They don't.

Kin was good but I think it could have been better, the writing & character development was weak in places & some quality actors didn't really deliver but then in places their story line was weak....hopefully series 2 will have a strong writing team & character development.

South Dublin Area

The main character is not a good actress and a terrible character.

Finished it last night decent ending but its way too slow and some of the subplots were pointless.

Very slow moving & lots of music in it. Last part of last episode was best part of it for me, just enough to prob keep me hanging on till next season (if there is 1)

Once emailed RTE to complain about the player on my Smart TV

They actually told me to use my phone and cast it from there as the player is so bad
