Stolen from the lounge.
Name a movie that was better than the book.
Don't respond if you have not either read the book and seen the movie only,or read the book and not seen the movie but are basing your opinion on reviews ?? |

"The book Pet Cemetery was wayyy better than the movie, the remake was worse "
Stephen King adaptations can go either way. Some great ones: Shawshank, Stand By Me, The Dead Zone
Also some stinkers...too many to mention |

Die Hard. The book it's based on ended with the lead character dropping his stepdaughter off the building.
Frank Sinatra played the same character in another adaptation in the late 60s so they had to offer him the lead role in Die Hard.
When he turned it down they changed the script and invented John McClane and the greatest Christmas movie ever was the result |

"
American Psycho
American Psycho book is far more graphic. Average film."
More graphic doesn't mean better. There's no way they could've made the the film as violent as the book
It's a matter of opinion of course, but I thought the film was far superior. It has the benefit of an equally hilarious and terrifying Christian Bale performance |
