Every few years a fab user does something that brings them to public attention or a famous fab user is exposed for revenge or by misfortune.
There hasn’t been a swinging scandal in a while and I think we are due one. There are large WhatsApp groups where people chat about themselves and others. There are huge meets happening regularly all over the county and we now have large numbers of people who know each other in and out of fab.
I think it’s only a matter of time before a story breaks into the real world, anyone else feel the same? Does Ireland even care anymore? |

If and when it does happen it'll be news for the usual 24hrw and then it'll be forgotten about again. It'll be in the printed rags
The radio show will give it 7mins of Fame to fill the slot and then normality resumes |

Corklad wins prize as world's greatest lover...
Only in the Sun 24page spread next week...
Tbh OP there are constant small stories here and there as it is.
There was a mention of Ireland swing scene in 2fm recently also.
Ya I think its seen as less and less of a story so the "scandalous story" treatment will reduce |

I know I don't care anyhow.I find most of the ones I've seen are just hype and bull and "exposed" for dramatic effect also as tho being on here should be something people should be ashamed of.
As for groups chatting about others that's always happened and always will and is why I stay away from groups most of the time as too much crap goes on in most of them .If people want to spend their time gossiping about others it says more about them than anything else .I prefer to concentrate on my own journey here .

Doesn't effect us... but i know some have good reasons to be very cautious here. A while back there was a lot in most papers and radio stations about an event at the hotel in silver springs in advance of the event. Still went zero fucks given. |

I remember an up coming swingers event discussed on a Cork Radio show years ago. Discussed every day for a week and the hotel location eventually got out.
Weekend of event you couldn't get a taxi in city as most of them were parked outside hotel. |

Yeah that's the one I was taking about. Was fine in the end. Even with high exposure it's all storms in teacups |

"Was there not something lately about a chip shop in Kerry. Don't laugh."
You're right. They had to close over the abuse they received.
Id they had lapped it up they'd be on The Late Late show and possibly love island next year. |

I remember a social being organised in carlow making the front page of the nationalist there. I was coming home from a trip to Yorkshire and had to grab the paper in Easons for the train home to read about it |

That was made public because a person involved posted photos and video to a staff WhatsApp group and a staff member reposted it online
They had to close but have now reopened |

None of you lot are making the tabloids if you aren't getting involved in a fueled romps.
Still not clear what a romp actually is but anyone caught in a tabloid sex scandal has always been romping their way to victory in the story headline (most noteably footballers)! |

"Men discover Fabswingers isn't dial-a-ride"
You can imagine the shock and despair when the men of Ireland realise after joining the renowned Swingers Dite thats its not actually Dial-a-Ride and they have to put a bit of effort in nearly more than they would on a night out in the local nightclub.
Maybe it's time to bring back the slow-set. |

"
It must have if I heard about it in Belfast"
I didn't hear about it on the news myself (although I've stopped watching/reading the news) but I thought you may have either heard it on here or by virtue of being 'in the community'. |
