I do like hymns, find them therapeutic to listen to and sing, like any music I guess. And I'm going to be humming all the above mentioned for the rest of the day.

Ahhh so many! Although firmly atheist now, I used to sing in the church choir

Maybe "Thine Be The Glory" or "Dear Lord And Father of Mankind" if I was pushed to pick

For me

"Oh jesus I have promised"

Can recall singing it in school to the up beat tune..

Think it conveys a very simple message of belief

Ma favourite hymn, by a long chalk, is the exceptionally old hymn,

There's favourite hymns I think if I set foot into a church I'll go up in flames. What should happen if I start googling hymns to see what's popular and identify a possible favourite

I’m sure you’d be pleasantly surprised how many you know, given the time of year I’m sure you’d know a Carol or two as well.

While now a complete atheist, but respect others religion, I still love Oh Holy Night especially at this time of year - makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand (and maybe elsewhere).

Outside of Christmas time - a favourite is Every Sperm is Sacred!
