I was a very keen cyclist for years but after getting Covid last year i haven’t got up on the bike for ages as long Covid has hampered me big time. I do take out my hybrid every now and then but not huge distances as I used to. |

Am way behind myself this year.. No motivation at all..
Would be usually over the 10,000 km by now but I'm about half that. The lack of events and charity stuff defo has had an effect on my time on the bike. |

Cycling on a mountain bike became my exercise when the covid and the body put a stop on going to the gym and 5 a side respectively.
I got a road bike this year and the difference....
Im up early mormimgs whatever the weather although im back on the MTB on the wet roads. Used to do about 30 a morning but down to 20 with the slow bike and school runs |

Can you not cycle through parks with a very bright led on strobe straight towards people walking in the dark. And can you stop looking at phones and gps in parks or roads with no lights as it ruins your night vision.
Every walk I go on it feels like I might have to fight a cyclist. |

Never been to Sleevebloom on the bike, and roads or loops in particular youd suggest? |

Nice one man, thanks for the rant. Im sure if we wanted we could blame you for everything that all walkers in the park do too. |

"I regularly go for a cycle and hopefully get back doing some charity events and sportivo,s soon
Are there any good routes / mountain passes in Clare?"
Wild Atlantic Way is savage.
I done the Celtic series in 2019 and it was hard going but very enjoyable. Beautiful scenery but the wind seems to be always on your face. Definitely worth checking out though. |

Sounds deadly definitely on the bucket list for 2022, need simmering more sheltered for the end of 2021 |
