For people to make more than one profile on here, for either the nose and or to try and work people out ?
Just something that came up in a conversation I was having and thought I'd ask here.
Thank you for your time.

"Demands for face pics and fake profiles has taken the joy out of this place"
Don't mind hitting out with face pictures of myself, they are on my profile.
Though I do understand how fake profiles would ruin a place.

Some like to troll on the forums with blank profiles cos they don't have the bottle to say what they think on their known profile. I've seen that a few times.
Some seem to stalk people with other profiles especially if they have been blocked on another one.
Some just get a kick out of having several profiles just for the sake of it .
There are some who have genuine reasons like one profile for organising socials and another for personal meets and couples who have single profiles as well and I'm sure there are other reasons people will come up with .
I have one profile and one is plenty I don't invest that amount of energy or time on here that I feel the need to have more than one .One is more than enough. |

For a variety of reasons, some people have more that one profile, but mt own policy is WYSIWYG, to cite an outdate IT acronym: what you see is what you get.
I was formerly on a couple of other sites, that I have now abandoned because of the number of blatantly fake profiles, out of date profiles, and profiles that were there for 'commercial' reasons.
Most of the active fabbers appear to be open-minded, forthright, honest and open about what they want.
However, a social meet is advisable, just in case.
A 'near miss' about a decade ago provided a salutory lesson, that misunderstandings and misinterpretations can occur. |

I’ve one profile that still confuses the shi#e out of me. I get why people have two, and each to their own. but when people use a 2nd profile to be contentious and underhanded, you have to question their basic nature.
Therefore, if I get a sniff of someone lying about their profile or situation or anything, it’s an enormous red flag.

"I've multiple profiles that message myself and flirt with back and forth. Great fun. plus that way you never get a disappointing picture "
That's why I keep at my juciest ones for my private messages. |

Thank you peoples for the insight, some well rounded answers.
I agree one profile is enough I find it hard enough as it is with just the one too.
Also no bad vibes to those people that are couples on single profiles and or events profiles that makes a lot of sense to me.
Though there are some underhanded people, shame.
Thank you.
For the input. |

This profile is nearly always Mr and is mostly for forum mischief, although we may well do stuff together occasionally. Laura's has her own profile that's mostly for meeting the occasional girl but she's nearly never posts here. I've had several profiles over the last 10yrs (all now removed) which represent my relationship statuses at the time. I never had any troll profiles or profiles created for nefarious purposes. I kinda regret deleting profiles that were very well verified, but they were me in different phases of life so that's ok. I think it's VERY common for peoole to have multiple accounts where they represent themselves differently, and that's their right. Creating new accounts to bypass blocks or to harass or intimidate is a shitty stalkerey way to behave, but I'm sure it happens all the time.

Fair and rounded answer thank you.
I just change my profile if my vibe changes though it rarely does, am me, I will always be me, even when my mood changes or my energy.
I guess I like transparency and always will.

"Split personalities?? Ok thats fair enough a guy might need 2 i suppose…….."
Interesting statement, I've noticed in life, people don't tend to act the same in say work or in home or when they are out for a drink.
Depending who they talk to and or hangout with can also dictate what personality they use.
So many people have different personalities, I've played with it over the years to see how people react to me in different lights, I found it to be empty.
So tend to just try and be myself at all times. I quite like myself, which is a good thing.
