The other one is ‘what do you think of me?’ Which frankly no one is ready for , are they ?

What do you think of yourself ?
It’s a bit of a love/hate relationship. Sometime I like myself, others I don’t. Being autistic, I mask a lot and sometimes present a version of a person I think other people want to see, which can be mentally and physically exhausting. All in all, I don’t really know what I think of myself.
In the forum or off the forum?
On the forum I can take my time and craft what I want to say. Off the forum, see above answer.

I’m sure to a degree we all are. Just with people with ASD we’re going against what is comfortable to us on a constant basis and constantly fighting the instinct to withdraw and isolate even though we want to be accepted by people. It’s a constant duality lol and you’re constantly second guessing yourself “do they like me? Do I like me? Is this the type of person they connect to? Or was it the mask I put on yesterday?” |

I like myself more as I get older. I have a very positive self image, which wasn't always the case. I dont contribute too much on the forum, as I'm busy all day. I like to think I offer something unique on fab, allthough i sometimes think I'm on the wrong site. I've met lots of fabbers, for meets and socials, so in a sense that's very affirming for me. I know I've touched people's lives in some positive way, here, through chats and Massage. Good topic, OP. |

I try to be the best person I can but I am human and can make mistakes. I’m too independent which pisses people off but I hope I come across as someone who loves to live, loves with all of my being, puts people at ease and is open and honest, maybe a little too much on both counts which also pisses people off lol.
Well that was me pre 2020 but now I’m a complete fooking mess lol. See you all at Envy 30th! |

I think I'm a realist in my general attitude in life and that carries over to my self image.
I know I have good and bad personality traits.
I'm opinionated but open minded.
I'd like to think that I'm kind more often than not.
I have an addictive personality nd terrible impulse control that I need to be aware of in many aspects of my life.
I think I'm funny but in a weird way which probably pisses off more people than it entertains.
I often speak (or post) without thinking but even when arguing I think I remain respectful.
Over all I think I'm a decent guy with room for improvements |

I believe I'm fair and considered, and I try to see the world not just from my own perspective. That said I can be scathing, I don't suffer fools gladly and I'll happily challenge where I see fit. I'm quite self-deprecating too. I'd say I'm more confident and less diplomatic on the forums than I am outside of them but my core remains the same. IRL I'm quite shy and conflict averse, and I'll often back down to avoid arguments...the exception being anything which I feel really strongly about. I was described in the past few days by someone as pompous...I don't think I am but perhaps I do come across like that. |

He was seriously trolling that day . I used the word reductive in response to someone else and he said I must feel superior or something similar . |

What do you think of yourself ? In the forum
I am a real hit and miss poster , and sometimes post impulsively or without thinking . If I see someone post about something I can assist with , or a thread by a newbie which needs bumping I post
off the forum?
Here essentially to meet . I got a break in June and haven’t looked back . I don’t make as much effort messaging but I don’t need to as much

At the peak of my powers , but aware that everything is temporary . Not especially funny or good looking (or at all) but can be all rounder
Do you match the expectations you have of others ?
I expect others to not be duplicitous but sometimes forget how much of I do is about a strategy and a plan to meet more
What do you offer the forum and other users ?
Hit and miss threads , a bit of help sometimes , but if I get unsolicited or unwarranted criticism I would always retaliate . I would never intend to hurt |

Forums think I have good sense of humour and hopefully it comes through off forum people who have met me I am exact same personality as on forums.

Now realising my self worth and I look good with a Salt and Pepper beard embrace the Silver that is coming.

TBH don't care if I do or don't, finished chasing people... if you meant to meet or be in someone life both will make it happen.
Not goin to waste my time and emotions on people who only contact you when its convenient to them ,will surround myself with people who make time to talk to me and be in my company because they want to.
If you go several days not contacting me, you can continue many more don't feel obliged I already get the message don't worry we are grown adults.

I would like to think lm humble ,kind , helpful ,caring , understanding , respectful but it's not really for me to say but l try to be all of the above everyday l draw breath, been through enough crap to understand that life ain't all sunshine and rainbows , everyone has their story ...and l try to avoid all the Narrcisists. |

I'm just me. I'm quite shy and introverted as a person I think. I would love to be more out going .Once I know people I'm a lot more chatty though but walking into a room where I know no one is my worst nightmare .
I don't have expectations of anyone and I don't believe anyone has to live up to anything they just have to be themselves that should be enough.No one should change who they are in order to fit in. If people make you feel that way well they aren't worth knowing.
On the forums I don't know if I bring anything to them.I just post what I think and probably come across as quite boring and sensible. 
But I've mostly enjoyed my fab journey and shall continue to paddle my own canoe and if it bumps into others who I get on with on this journey than that is enough for me . |

I am what i am, very lucky to be here, told all the time i’m a good guy? Add that to my own belief that i’m decent and humble? And its enough to keep me a happy boy, work wise? I know i am the only one of my kind in Europe to get the job done and i do it, keep it simple,keep moving and never forget you can only ever do your best |

About 70,000 thoughts a day (if the scientists are correct) so don't know how many of those pertain to me

Like another poster said. A love/hate relationship. But these days I've learned to be happier within myself and embrace me more.
I used to be my biggest judge and constantly be annoyed over the things I thought I failed to fix in my life.
Now I'm learning to move on and stop caring too much, as there is such thing.
In the forum or off the forum?
I hope I contribute sometimes funny and witty replies when suited but also helpful when asked for advice and thoughtful and considerate when in a serious discussion.

I like to treat others the way I'd like to be treated myself. Again, sometimes it never ceases to amaze me what other human beings can do to each other, in a negative way.
But seeing on here, how much people can be there for each other in this community, it outweighs the negative by far.
What do you offer the forum and other users ?
Me. And that's all I can do. Give you the best of me, but show you the sad or angry me too, as that's part of life, that's part of being honest. And I think to be a swinger, you need to be honest with others and with yourself. |
