#mentalhealthawareness

#movember

#stressrelease

Morning all. Maybe this is more of a point for me with Movember coming up, not sure.

Forget the sideway glances. Stifle your sniggers.

It hasn't been a great few years. It's been a very rough two. Heartbreak, bereavement, illness. The effing trifecta for me.

Sometimes I need a release. A cry sometimes. One piece of music does it every fucking time. Every time.

I find this to be truly beautiful. Set up or not, I don't care. Gets me without fail. Blubbering, snotty idiot it makes me. Canon rock(original and one cover), Johnny Cash's 'Hurt' cover get a similar response. Really helps.

What is your release? Your trigger? You don't have to post anything. Message if you will.

How are you doing today? In general?

i travel all over

Sorry to hear OP. Hope the days ahead are brighter

I actually avoid my triggers these days , including individuals whose conversations I find difficult to be around

Swimming , yoga and immersing myself in all things fab really helps

South Side.

Sorry to hear that OP. I once worked in a very stressful situation so needed to release the pressure with a good cry every evening.. So I'd listen to Chris Rea, The Road to Hell. It worked, and I'd have a good cry, and felt refreshed afterwards.

dark side of the moon

Chunky i replied to a post earlier in the week by fresh star re. Mental health, where i spoke of darker days of my own, what i didn't say was that Life has bit into me many times i’ve had both hips, both shoulders, and my left femour replaced, my left foot re built, lost the use of my left arm and had 4 brain haemorrhages and i kid you not there are People on this site who are fully aware of all i say and the dealings around all to do with my life, i’m a strange fish who believed in one thing from a very early age. Myself, i believed in myself. I have no breaking point, no relise, my punchbag? Was my bikes now gone, and i’ve done a 180, chatting learning, laughing, enjoying others dose it for me. I now do voluntray work with people who have had or have a brain injury, stroke/tumours/bleeds as a way of giving back. A track to listen to. “I believe in you” by talk talk, try and get lost in it. Put the worlds into your own life and world, make it your daily thing if you can. Get in touch anytime if you think i could ever be of any help to you? And next time i’m in cork i’ll look you up if you like? Btw. These days i could not be in a better place.
