About 15/16 years ago i went to a fancy dress swing meet arranged in portmarnock golf club arranged as someones birthday party, i was dressed as a wobble and was stoped at a check point by a ban garda. Who asked “ can you step out of the Vehicle sir as they might say. I opened the door stepped out and put my head piece on. And started to sing underground overground wombbling free… she burst out laughing with that the other cop on the other side of the road arrived over 3-4 mins later after they got themselves back together they gave me directions and i was on my way but 40 mins later while at the bar in the golf club One of the same 2 garda walked up to me and asked if they could have a word outside, when i got outside there was an other 4 of them bursting their sides. I have since met the same ban Garda a number of times for drinks and coffee and handcuffs….. but its never anything other than decafe. |
