Seen that, fella from ferry bridge..few people saying they have similar issues, if it’s manufacturers fault surely they should stand over it if enough people complain..

Banbridge Area

Over fueling could be down to a leak in air intake system as well...

Is it sluggish & missing or flooding itself?

The edge of town

I've had two Td5 Discovery's. Both of the were 02, one was the older version manual & the other was the face-lift automatic. The manual was a brilliant vehicle, spent a good bit on it but it was all wear & tear parts you'd expect to replace at 200,000 miles.

The automatic however... spent a lot on that one too & eventually gave up & sold it. Don't have any now but would love to have another 00-02 manual at some point.

I just sold my 02 manual. 135 k and running perfect. Never any bother at all, just usual wear n tear maintenance, never welded and waxoyled before and again a couple more times from when I got it 12 years ago. Miss it big time but had to sell it unfortunately, never missed a beat.

There is a reason British special forces are going to move to ineos. Even Jeremy Clarkson admitted it's junk, even as a work vehicle it's just a status symbol.

Saying that surely you can get a new engine for less than the dealers prices.

Did you get them coded.. They won't work right if you don't.. Might be why it's overfuelling..
