I'm going to visit Göttingen for 2 weeks. Is anyone familiar with the area?
I'd love some recommendations or even just some advice haha
I really want to visit some bars, I'm not too bothered about tourist traps unless there is something great to see.
Mostly I want to know where the locals go.

As far as i know Göttingen isnt a super touristy place. I do know it has some fab botanical gardens that i have on my must see list. I know theres a pub called Thanners thats supposed to be a lovely place. Im not sure if they do food though. I only have these suggestions as we were marking out our own hols but it might be worth trying y elp for other suggestions. Sorry cant be more help |

It's a university town, bars and restaurants should be aplenty though I'm not familiar with that area myself... |

Yes, I'm actually going to visit someone who is a student there but he is not exactly a wealth of information haha
I'll be out on my own for a few of those nights so just want to make sure I go to the right places.

Oh that's really good advice. I wouldn't trust myself with a tab anyway but you never know what decisions you'd make when d*unk  |
