Time wasting horrors !!

Hello Everyone, I’d like to know other people’s opinions on this.
Time wasters on FAB.., they do my head in honestly and ruin moral of so many genuine people on the site. I think Fab should input some measure to identify profile’s that like to do long chats,pic grabs and no meets within a certain time period (say 2 months) and stick a badge on the profile so genuine people can see it and run if they choose to hahaha 
That’s my rant over… love to know everyone’s opinion on this

Heres the thing tho ,you cant force anyone to comply xith anything here. Swinging for some is once in a while thing, for others a once in a blue moon persuit and some live it 24/7 .there is room foe everyone to meet at their own pace. The word timewaster gets thrown around a lot here, and often by folk who do not like to be refused ,youll learn to spot the timewasters easily enough, just avoid them.

Valid point made there… but like when someone makes u leave ur house to meet and then get ignored for the rest of the night is not cool now and deserves a FTW badge  |

No meets within a certain time frame? How on earth would that work? What if you haven't managed to find someone suitable within that time frame? Or life is getting in the way of a mutually convenient time? Should you be forced to meet just anyone to fulfil the criteria of being "genuine"? 
We can go many months between meets. That's how we like to play it. Something occasional. We make that very clear. It doesn't make us timewasters. Very often that's a term bandied about by those who think people should be meeting them at the drop of a hat 
You're in control...if you think someone is wasting your time then it's in your power to take control of the situation by walking away from it. |

Ok.. 2 months too small I see.. but if someone is active on the site for 5 months.. super long chats.. lots of pic grabs and no meet..
I think they should get a FTW badge and then it get taken off when they meet.. maybe call it passive members badge  |

And what if the reason they haven't met during that time frame is because they've been stood up? Can you see the flaw there in your solution? You're already able to report no-shows via the report button. |

And re pic grabs...if you're not comfortable pic swapping then don't do it. No-one should do anything they don't want to. If you suspect you're just providing wank material the easiest solution is to not facilitate it |

2 months? Not everyone can meet at the drop of a hat, you just have to try to spot the time wasters. I don't "meet" often this year I've had one play meet abd that's by choice does that make me a time waster? If you were stood up report it and move on, it happens |

well said .I always find it amusing how people want fab to change to suit what they want ignoring the fact that it won't be the same for everyone else but label them then as a timewaster.
People can only waste your time if you allow them to. Learn to spot the red flags early and move on if you think they are doing it. |

If someone is arranging a meet and not showing that's time wasting. However outside of that nobody on here owes anyone anything.
Fab is a fantasy world. We don't use it to make a living or do any of life's chores. It's not a priority. It's just a place to network with like-minded people.
The only thing that I will say is. If it's taking an extended period of time to try convince someone you are worth meeting there is a good chance they are seeing some sort of red flags or something. I don't say that as a refection on you or your character just maybe a connection thing.
Keep the head up lad, the place is full of great and genuine people

It’s free to join fab, meaning you can delete and set up a new profile whenever you want. Also life gets in the way when it comes to arranging a meet leaving it that everyone has a different experience especially when it comes to time wasters. Labelling people won’t make any difference at all! |

All they'd have to do is just post the same photo that was taken years ago and the date would only show that it was taken or updated recently. |

This 100% I met a lovely man this morning for coffee who's been here a while but due to work and life hasn't gotten to know people so I was his first meet in over 2yrs.. |

How do you prove someone hasn't met anyone? A lot of people meet without putting up verifications so that's not a reliable method of judging.
The whole idea suggests a bit of either desperation or poor judgment.
If you're a reasonable person you won't have a problem finding genuine people.
Also, if the only people you manage to meet are "timewasters" maybe you're the problem?
My mother always used to say.. "Michael, if you do a day's walk and everyone you meet is a cunt, then maybe you're the cunt?"

Fab is what you make it. If things don't seem right or if things seem too good when chatting maybe step back and think for a while. If they want to meet they will in time, when both parties can. Life can get in the way, it's not time wasting. Don't take fab too personal, some will like you, some will not. |

Had a guy messaging us for literally years looking to meet, messaged him the other day to meet this weekend, he agrees.. skip forward to today, message him with time for meet, he logs on, leaves message unread, doesn't reply, logs off.. I mean ffs.. |
