"It's your subconscious trying to sort out shizz"
Very possible, seemingly we cannot dream about a face that we have never seen. every face you have seen in a dream is a face you have seen in your life. |

Somewhere in Co. Down |
I hope not .While sometimes I dream about things I have on my mind,a lot of my dreams are really random weird stuff that have no bearing on anything that has happened or in fact could even happen. |

Yes and no, depends on your viewpoint, I keep it simple, dreams, I accept but they need interpreting, especially the strange ones. Nightmares, I disregard totally.
We need a Psychologist to chime in or point us to credible sources. |

I think they're just a combination of stuff you want, that's happened and what's pissing you off. Lastly the wierd shit is what your subconscious makes up, that makes no sense just to annoy you cause it's bored and rarely listened to! |

Had a decent sex dream early this morning, actually rarely get them.
Was not overly elaborate, just a vivid image and feeling of penetration with a 100% high noon erection, along with an unspecified sexy female. |

I don't dream and haven't done for years but a friend in the medical field who suffers from ongoing nightmares spent some time studying dreams a few years ago.
The thing she took away from those studies was that everyone in your dream is a facet of your own personality.
Therefore that person chasing you is you, the one you are fighting with is also you and those people you failed to save are you too.
It's your subconscious telling you that you are running away from responsibility, unhappy with a decision you have made and/or are despairing at not being able to protect yourself from harm. |

Yep. I love dreams, once you get to recognise symbolism from random daily sorting ones they can be really enlightening.
Repeated symbols/metaphorical imagery are the ones to watch.. |

I have lucid dreams. Sometimes very vivid, traumatic dreams about events in my past. But, now I can tell myself to wake up and leave the dream. Symbols are important. I keep a dream diary beside the bed. |

I don't usually remember dreams but when I do I often Google them and they do align with the common meaning. I also often wake up in the morning with solutions to my problems lol.
Our subconscious mind does a lot of work overnight to keep us sane and to help us |

They mean nothing, and you can dream about faces you don't know.
I used to dream about this bed, and side of the bed was a red button, and everytime I pressed it the materess would flip over and a new woman, or more than one would be on the bed. I never seen any of the faces before.
I rarely ever see a face I know in dreams. Freddy Krueger was in a few I recognized him, so was Santa clause but he had just a Santa face. Once in a blue moon a friend or family member will be in one. Rest of time it's people I don't know.
I do have recurring people I don't know. They change places around the dream like actors. In one they might be a shop worker, in the next my friend.
Also you won't die if you die in a dream. Being stabbed feels wired, and jumping off a building is sore. Really sore. But you won't die. |
