Well thanks very much . Frontline workers still have to work bank holidays and this actually increases my work load . Hate bank holidays

Is this going to be a day nice off bank holiday or will it be a fixture in the calendar?

Such a waste of time majority of frontline workers work bank Holidays anyway so what use is it.

First I heard of this

I used to not mind working the BH as I got a day in lieu and double pay and there was usually less pressure on the day as managers were off

And I think it's only this year they are doing it so can't really see the point.

Not sure its needed but do frontline workers get time off in lieu?

And isn't it also proposed as a memorial to those that died?

I think the start of February would be a better day for it though give those that struggle in January something to look forward to
