Just want to float an idea that a few frinds and myself have been chatting about
.
We have been thinking that it could be a good idea to rent a holiday house / cottage / appartment every couple of months or so to have a regular meet for a few couple a single ladies and fellas to get together for a party
.
the idea is to rent maybe somewhere different each time or maybe somewhere central in the north and that a house etc would allow for play and non-play rooms
given the price of a hotel room if the cost of the weekend rent was shared by all who attenend then it would be no more expensive for a weekend than a double or twin room in a hotel for one night
.
Having been involed in running a few socials a while back I am aware of the pitfalls of something like this but we hope that with the right group of people it might work. As I have said I have been involved in running meet and greets in the past and this we see as an extension of that.

So what do people think is it something worth doing with the right checks and balances in place |

sounds like a good idea in theory, as ppl will say at first oh yeah we,d like to go we,ll defs be there send us the details blah blah blahhhhhhhh!!!! then not show up ,who would be left to foot the bill lol ??  |

Well just like any club there would be a membership fee that could create the float for the first rent then everyone shares the cost for the next one
.
Details can be work out if there's enough interest
.
It'll work if its done right and the right people are onboard
.

for interested parties first then go forward from there.

There are ways to do it to avoid many of the possible issues. In the running of socials in the past a formula was worked out to keep things manageable and discreet etc for example a profile was set up for the events and details were only shared by PM etc For now please dont mail me on my profile regarding this if need be there will be a profile set up for it and those involved will have access to that profile
.
It would be usefull to hear any thoughts from couples on the idea
.

I could see that working, obviously if somebody has done something like it before it should be ok. Personally I think people like me (the shy retiring sort) would like it, would this be more aimed at couples/single ladies or would single males be eligible? (with certain checks/restrictions) I would imagine making sure details were kept private and between the selected members that would keep the nutters and timewasters away.  |

Well what we did was take the average age of people on the site multiply it by the number of theads about the lack of swingers clubs in Ireland then removed the quota of projected timewasters this resulted in an inverse fraction so that was difficult to express so we just choose random numbers
.
Oh and were having a get together east of the Banner soon so as we have been saying to those who have been messaging on the profile thanks for your message and keep an eye on the profile for updates we will be in touch again soon.we hope you appreciate we get a lot of messages and we do want to do this right so it takes time and effort to get details sorted. |
