I was actually only about 8yrs old, I bought it at the Galway races off a stall. I hadn't a clue who meatloaf was I just loved the album cover. However, I actually became a meatloaf fan, bought more albums and went to a couple of concerts and all. |

Thé one thing that bothers me is that she was probably a vehicle for some other song writer . The degree of maturity given her previous shit material and age screams of performance enhancing drugs
But WTF ? Disagree . many great songs , then a masterful missing track about stalking .

I know people often talk about the original Glastonbury gig with the power cut but I enjoyed 2 years ago’s more . They knew exactly how to blend in new material , the electrónica stuff , but only the stuff that doesn’t alienate more mainstream viewers . The full list included
Daydreaming
Myxomatosis
Everything In It’s Right Place
Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
Idioteque
You And Whose Army?
There There
2+2=5
Lotus Flower
Plus creep and let down which you never hear and are possibly their best 2 .
Plus a bunch of classics |

Rubber Bullets, by 10CC back in (was it) 1973. I know technically it was a 45, not an album, but I dont remember my first album, though I'm sure it would have been a country one... |
