I'd tell you I'll trade you the sole for some sensible chat but I've got psychologists, therapists and teachers coming out my ear. I need nonsense, just for a change |

"I'd welcome a slice of sensible chat.
I'm currently looking at ways to set up a company as a sole trader.
Why not ltd company "
Limited company implies you are not really sure , thats how banks and finance institutions look at it. I was a sole trader for over 20 years. Much more favourable rates for borrowing and charges. |

That's because a sole trader is personally guaranteeing any borrowing. If it goes titsup then youre personally responsible for the debt. If you have a limited company and the company goes under them the debt dies with the company. Higher risk to a bank of not getting the money back means a higher interest rate. |

I've had a ltd company for 30 years ....i don't borrow and my charges are 30 a month
I'm sure i wouldn't be a sole trader....costs 5k a year to do accounts but i sleep at night |

I've experience in both sole trader and ltd businesses. I'm currently a sole trader and a director of a company.
What's better depends on the type of business. A business that carries debt wether it's to suppliers or set up costs, whatever it is, is basically better off as a ltd company. Better from a tax point of view, that depends on your perspective. The tax man never loses and corporation tax may be lower but your money then is never yours. Not really.
However, certain businesses such as a Barbers or nail technician, tattoo artist....most service industries that don't employ a large amount of people are far better off as a sole trader.
Obviously there are alot of other factors I'm just trying to highlight there is no one right way. |

"Taking the next 2 weeks off so going to check out places to go tonight. Anyone know if we are still on the US redlist for travel ."
You can't go to the US right now (unless your a citizen or married to one) so I wouldn't advise booking anything there |

I'm currently looking at ways to set up a company as a sole trader." f y i your either a sole trader or a company, you cant be both. Basically as a sole trader your personally responsible for the taxes and losses, as a company you have 5 times the paperwork of a sole trader but have limited liability protection. I have been both a sole trader and later a company director, there are pros a d cons to both. Drop me a mail if you need any further info. |

I love watching movies alone actually . It’s our self talk that it’s ‘wrong’ in some way or proves that we are lonely or whatever that puts us off . Avoid rom coms obviously |

"I don't know what a tracker mortgage is!"
I am going to generalise from the U.K. version I had
It tracks the bank of Ireland base rate and everytime that goes up it goes up and vice verse
If you want to know exactly how much you ll pay , get a fixed one
But that certainty makes them expensive . If you’re happy to take a bit of a risk it ll mean you ll pay less for a tracker unless interest rates go up significantly and overtake the fixed |

Oh, I needed that good laugh. Thanks!
You'd see me run around a street pole fast enough to fuck myself in the arse then me going to the movies to watch a rom com by myself
Speaking of small screens, I hope they don't fuck up The Foundation, would be sad to have Asimov's opus ruined in the first attempt... |

I remember an old Corolla I had and all you had to do to unlock it was hit the door hard enough just under the lock and it would pop open |

Stopped locking the house ages ago, unfortunately not locking the car doesn’t have the same pros/cons profile |
