Sorry but as a dub i think any team that make it to an all Ireland final are not shite in a bucket or born losers...they are anazing sportsmen a credit to their sport and county and im genuinely gutted for them and their supporters...Tyrone were the better team but none of us should be hurling insults to fine young men who played with pride for their county |

I don't understand the hate to Mayo, I feel for them but a part of me likes that there's still that ol wail of the banshee ol mythic stuff that still hasn't completely died in the country, still lingering about.
I truly belive that curse is real, has to be, I think that's 9 finals now and no wins since the priest cursed them and I don't believe in coincidence....I know shut up, haha.
Anyways no reason to hate a county we're all Irish no reason to hate people we're all on the same planet....well at least for no understandable reason anyways. |

Mayo not at the races today. Aidan O'Shea not at the elite level be was 3/4 years ago, can't have passengers at that level, if nothing else every player needs to run themselves into the ground for the cause.

How can any genuine Gaa supporter take any pleasure in watching mayo lose year after year
Its heartbreaking for their players and supporters they've only really been in one final in my opinion that they actually performed and should have won
They will get over the line but I'd be nervous if I was on the 51 team at this stage |

There is clearly something lacking within the group to get them over the line.
I'm not massive fan of them as a group I don't see what the rest of the country does apparently. They don't seem the most likeable team.
I also think the majority of GAA intercounty players who come back year after year without a hope of any medels (Mayo have 7 Connacht titles in the last 10 years) and are lucky to have 1 televised game a year are more deserving of the praise about coming back again and again.
Saying all that I don't understand why anyone would get such joy or need to insult them just because they don't have what it takes to finish the job at the very highest level |

Whatever about Mayo losing again..the one thing that REALLY knocked me out was thata certain Mayo footballer has now played in 7 All Ireland Football finals and has NOT scored at all...l was totally shocked ..that's, with added times etc in the games of approx 4 mins per game , nearly 518 minutes of football... unbelievable..not even 1 point...anyway , life's goes on ..l don't think there's any footballer's hurting as much this morning as the Mayo lads...just goes to show there's gotta be something in that curse, 70 years ,13 finals...no wins. |

Absolutely spot on. I was gutted for Mayo losing again but to their credit, the amount of players and management that stayed on the pitch to watch Tyrone lift the Sam and celebrate was savage. A very difficult thing to do no doubt. |
