Hey All, we are in Belfast early October for a weekend?? Does anyone have any recommendations for vanilla nightlife and bars? Let us know where we should be heading… |

"Kelly's Cellars
Whites Tavern
Sunflower"
Voodoo and the fountain bar also in that area, its got a more laid back atmosphere round there, possibly a younger and more varied crowd.
The cathedral 1/4 is probably still the most popular. The National, Ulster Sports Club, The Harp Bar, 39 Gordon St, all a top night out. |

I'll go ahead and poop on everyone's parade - cathedral quarter is overhyped and overcrowded with bands that are too loud and lousy service from being bunged all the time. (Purely my opinion).
As poster above said- Berts is a classy jazzy spot good for wine and cocktails.
Highly recommend visiting Union Street and Maverick for a good crowd and great banter.
