So you get to the place you've wanted to visit for ages and it's just meh.
What place or city would you never go back to..
Myself....StoneHenge
...actually kept driving past they looked so boring
City...Cairo...so much poverty ..people living in graveyards..felt I was intruding away from the Pyramids themselves

Why go to Brussels to see something pee into a fountain, just go to any city here on a Saturday night and you’ll see that |

I rather enjoyed the giants causeway and found it quite impressive, maybe downsize the telly... |

Petra - big disappoint. Chock full of so many people hawking their wares, it was hard to get peace to enjoy the place. That & the appalling state of some of the donkeys, camels & horses used to carry people around the site.
I'd been to Jerash the previous weekend. Still the most impressive ancient site I've ever visited. |

Had a great video of my mate chasing one out of our 3rd floor hotel room out there whilst also being scared of it and letting out random squeaks himself |

I'd love to hear your reasons for Westport....
Really have to agree on LA though, the only place I ever left early. |

"Killarney
We second that! Two days last week and never again !
Any particular reason??"
Way overpriced for what you get whether it be hotel, food or drink...€13.50 for a cocktail in the Porterhouse bar as just a simple example.
Just generally found it a very tacky town. Not a great vibe in the streets at night. |

It had just won the best place to live in the Times. I d read about how it was planned and designed bespokely unlike many Irish town centres where It’s one building at a time which bears no relation to the others. Maybe it was the drizzly weather but I though it was ok no more . I found many places going round Ireland fairly stunning (Glandore , abbeyleix etc ) but just didn’t see what the fuss about Westport was . Just my opinion |

Ya, I can see that, It was always a stomping ground for us, and the more prestigious it gets the more pretentious it gets & the more I dislike it, I miss what it used to be. |

"Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam.
Bored the bejaysus out of me!"
Love Art so would have to agree on the Van Gogh Museum so so disappointing! As was the Mona Lisa, very underwhelming...the Musee D'Orsay was spectacular though!
I was also disappointed in Madrid and Rome.
Amsterdam on my first visit but went back for a dance festival and it was EPIC |

Saw it a lot in the U.K. you grow up somewhere , gets way too gentrified , people no longer feel like it’s home and can’t afford to live there , whilst simultaneously wondering what these newbies find so alluring about it |
