If you’re considering a 2nd meet , or even if you have had a lot of discussions prior to the first, do political views matter ?

A few weeks I was in someone’s house and saw a leftie book . Definitely made me want to go back and chat about it . Is this important to you ? Would you meet someone if they had views You completely disagreed with on immigration , taxes , housing etc ? Or are chemistry and/or looks more important ?

Tbh I've never discussed politics on a meet and wouldn't. It's not really a factor for me.

Too be honest I think politics is a great subject to discuss, but definitely not on first meeting!

Somewhere in Co. Down

Politics has never been a topic I have spoken about really to anyone on here. It's not something I have an interest in particularly.

Usually by chatting to someone tho you get a feel of how they are so if we had completely different views on things I couldn't see us meeting in the first place but if it happened and it showed we had completely different out looks on life then I really don't think we'd meet again .I have to actually like the person to want to have sex with them .

I'm from Northern Ireland. I despise politics full stop but regardless I wouldn't be discussing them on any fab meet.

There are many other reasons I wouldn't meet someone long before that topic ever came up.

If they had views I strongly disagreed with on social issues then it's very unlikely I'd remain in contact with them.

Politics and Religion on the No No list…..

Way too much divisiveness is society for calmness

If idisagreed with their political opinions they'd want to be damn good in the sack. The sex might even be more vigorous as I try to exorcise their demons, or possibly even punish them.

Queue up please, all you right wing, fascist ladies!

If their socio-political views were extreme or if I found those views extremely distasteful and/or offensive then yes it would be a issue for me.

Politics or religion would be 2 things I definitely wouldn't discuss on a meet

I have asked some general questions to understand things ...ie what does East or West Belfast mean on a profile but thats it.

You can often sense someone's position without discussing it in many cases.

In relation to the north, even the name you use for the place can hint at your political position.

Not that it would be particularly a chat or meet topic but if you get to know a person a bit you get a fair idea. And yes Brexit was discussed at meets...

As long as it's not extremist views and I like the look of his cock it wouldn't deter me. I rather fuck someone with a political opinion that might disagree with mine than an apathetic sausage.

This for me.

I can sense when someone has wildly different views but I was recently caught out. Am wondering if this is a viable solution - f**k it out of them??

Not necessarily Mick. As someone born and bred in South Armagh I've never called it anything but Northern Ireland and don't know anyone else who has.

"Can hint" was used for that very reason.

I reckon it's safe to say that if you refer to it as "the occupied six counties" you're not a loyalist at least.

I'm on Fab to escape my mundane life of being a single Mammy so on my rare night off I want a night of fun and filth. The only serious debate I want is what toppings to have on the pizza after the fuck fest!

There's heaps and heaps of filth to be found in politics and some seem to even to have fun.

Politics forum gets quickly boring with the same 10 to 20 peeps posting, half of them in complete delusion and denial about the "British Empire".

Relax, I'm only joking, dont get all right wing on me now!
